Our Name

Many of you might wonder about our name, Carroll. Anna and I are named after my grandfather, James Carroll Thurmond. Granddaddy is the sweetest man. We have always said about him, "They just don't make 'em like that anymore." It is true. He is a wonderful example of how to live a godly life that is full of loving and giving to others. He lives pretty close, so we are able to visit both him and my Nana every few weeks. He adores Anna, and although he recently suffered a stroke, he does a great job of holding her with his good arm. :) It is fun to watch the two of them stare at each other.
